it looks like chicken farming has gone mainstream. there are chicken coops for sale on williams sonoma's website, under the "agrarian" tab. backyard chickens aren't just for cutting edge über cool hipsters like the staple family anymore.

 in related news, look for us on the tenney lapham neighborhood tour des chicken coops this summer. last time we participated, we were the only house on the tour with a keg of beer. i don't know why things should be any different this year.
