wonderful weekend wedding

my sister anna married her best friend jeffrey this weekend in a beautiful ceremony on top of a mountain. they looked so happy, the setting was so beautiful, and the weekend was so full of celebration and joy. we are so glad that we could be there to take part in it all!

when not at the wedding or practicing for the wedding, we played on the beach,

(stinson beach, 9 am on a saturday. foggy, deserted, and perfect for hunting sand dollars with ramona and my parents)

 
explored the gardens at our hotel,

went out to eat with my family,

 lounged and had some down time.


on friday we headed up mount tamalpais (tam, for the locals) to the very tippy top to practice the wedding ceremony. much trail exploration, running about, oohing and aahing and the most.incredible.view.ever, and general glowing looks of happiness between anna and jeffery occurred. it was all so nice. here are some pictures of the rehearsal. none exist from the ceremony, but those images live on in our memories and hearts (and they include sweaty screaming toddler and infant, so it's really just as well as to not be photographed).
