spring break time

another year of school under david's belt means another springtime break from his studies. this year, as we do many years, we went down south florida-way for a visit with the naples staples. ramona loves visiting her nana and papa, swimming in the pool, and watching her parents sunbathe. james loves....well, james seems to like smiling, sleeping, and drinking milk, but that can be done as well in florida as it can in wisconsin. both kids were happy in the florida sun, and that makes us happy. (so did the florida sun).

both kids worked on their swimming skills with the expert help of their nana. ramona became an ace swimmer in 4 days, and james learned to appreciate the pool experience.

here we all are, at the end of a long day in the sun, on the last of many days in the sun. per usual, we've remembered a family photo when it is too late. oh well.


so much fun, so much rest and good food, so much love. thank you, nana and papa, for everything. all the time. we are lucky and blessed to be part of your lives.
