dining al fresco

i've breastfed these kids in lots of places, both public and private. it's not a crusade or a statement. it's just how i feed my babies, and sometimes they get hungry when we're away from home.  i've nursed these babies on buses, planes, trains. i've nursed them on the beach and in the woods, in the snow and in the rain. but i can't recall a time that i nursed on top of a mountain at the edge of a continent with one of the world's best circumferential views.

that's mount tamalpais in marin county, california under my butt. in front of me is the marin county headlands, and beyond that is san francisco bay and the city. behind me is the pacific ocean, and above me is the clear sky and warm california sun.

we had a perfect weekend, and have lots of photos to come....
