happy wake up

many days of the week, david is awake very early and out of the house before the rest of us wake up. we always miss him lots in the morning, but he manages to find ways to make us smile even when he isn't home.

for example, this morning's note on the counter top was a real crowd-pleaser. a sweet, simple note in a sweet, simple medium.
