book club

i am in a book club, but i should probably call it a "book club." we are a group of friends that dine together once a month. we used to read the same book each month, and then discuss it over a delicious multiple course meal with a side of too much wine at one of our homes. now we go out to restaurants to talk about diapers and sleep training and the terrible twos and teething and blah blah blah. it's really great. really.

we used to look like this. careless, child free, avid readers.

but now we look like this (you might recognize this picture from a blog post about ramona's birthday party). we are moms with very little free time to read, cook, shower.

"book club" is one of my favorite activities. but you know what would make it even better? pythons. check out what is happening at a madison book club across town.
