when ramona (yep, she's wearing christmas pajamas in the afternoon. it's a shame she's not wearing the matching hat in this picture) and caleb were done with dishes,
caleb wrestled with his brother byron,
and aunt julia snuggled her new nephew james.
a snap shot of family time. chaos. love. shirts pulled up (caleb, and probably me, too). coffee tables chewed upon (byron). a step stool used as a walker (ramona). good times.
and, at the end of the visit, we scrambled for a few organized photos. this time, it actually worked fairly well. behold: toddlers holding babies, posing for a photo. ramona looks a little worried and a little tired, caleb seems to be lost in thought, and byron is working on a wet willy, but it works.
then it was mormor's turn for posing. she really cashed in on her beloved grandmother status and got some kisses.
and even our little family of 4 got a piece of the posed photo action. we look....tired. unshowered. this really captures life in our house for the last 2 weeks.
but then there's little james. tiny perfection.

tiny perfection, indeed. we loved meeting him. those weekends go by too quickly. i can't wait to see you all very soon! caleb and i have begun our countdown until we see the staples again!
