pumpkin magic

ramona has been pumpkin obsessed this october.  every afternoon we take a walk up and down our street to look at the pumpkins on display.  for a while, she had the words "pumpkin" and "tomato" confused.  it was pretty cute, but she's over that. now it's all pumpkin, all the time.  in light of ramona's pumpkin fascination, it was a no-brainer that we would procure and carve pumpkins.  this afternoon we made it happen.

after the carving and lighting of pumpkins was done, i performed my annual task of sorting out every last pumpkin seed, over-cooking them, and throwing the inedibly burnt seeds away.  a good time was had by all.
