candy and iron

various sources on the internet suggest that the sixth wedding anniversary should be celebrated with gifts of candy and iron. if they're right, then we're all set. yesterday, our sixth wedding anniversary, was sweet like candy and strong like iron. we had a toddler-free 20 hours, complete with a visit to the terrace, the willy street fair, and a fancy pants dinner. it was awesome.

oh, and we also took a little breather on the steps of the university club.
it felt familiar, but a little less formal than 2005.
