fondy pontoon

our very generous friends hosted a super nice pontoon-boat-and-picnic sort of day in picturesque fond du lac, wisconsin (fondly, "fondy"). a perfect late july activity with good friends, to be sure.

the only trouble we encountered that day was ramona's first pfd fitting. full blown temper tantrum ensued. of course, a temper tantrum is a much safer operation, particularly on a cement side walk, when a properly fitted pfd is being worn.
she quickly got over her pfd anger and became a pontoon natural with her buddy sam.
a mid-lake sand bar made a very nice spot to stop and take a dip.
later, sam and ramona tried their hand at a game of bean bags. ray, you're doing it wrong. i'm just sayin.'
