east side exploration

it's not our habit to head east for diversion; state street, campus, the isthmus, and the capitol square are our usual locations for fun. lately, when considering restaurants, parks, and events, we are considering all points east of our house.

we have not yet been disappointed. mother's day brunch at manna cafe was deeeelicious. the gyros at people's bakery are possibly the best in town (madison peeps: go there). the green grassy parks of maple bluff make good toddler play zones. and, of course, the merry-go-round at ella's deli was....fun?
