easter egger!

just when we got comfortable with the idea that all four chickens were laying brown eggs, we find this.
3 brown, one green?

a green egg! our easter egger chicken (rose) has finally come through with the goods. we chose her for her special skill for laying colored eggs that resemble easter eggs. we figured her special easter egg color was a nice light tan. turns out, it's a nice pistachio green.
