penarious

the oxford dictionary wants help. there are at least a quarter of a million distinct English words, according to the folks as oxford dictionaries, but 90% of communication today is done with only 7000 of these words. words are disappearing.

but you can help! sign up and adopt a word at savethewords.org. today, we're using penarious.
as in, "we took a walk to the grocery store to buy penarious items for a delicious afernoon prandicle." fun, easy, and irritating. what's not to like?

in this photo, ramona is enjoying a penarious experience of her own.

you can look forward to more forgotten english words in future posts. we're just doing our part.
