when we hosted a stop on tenney-lapham neighborhood's "tour de coops" this year, we met a group of people interested in changing their city's rules to allow backyard chickens. these folks from stoughton, wisconsin, had a video camera with them to gather information and make a short film to present to the city council. the fruits of their labors can be found on youtube.
check out the staple home and coop-stop-sign at 0:56, and the staple coop, featured briefly at 3:41!
but, better than the film, the fruits of their labor are eggs! their efforts worked, and backyard chickens are now legal within stoughton city limits. hooray for chickens!

I first missed your coop. Then I spotted the bright stripes on the coop door. Congrats. Love those eggs!
