bicycles and drums filled the tunnel on john nolen drive.
we took a break along the way, had a hot dog, and fixed a flat tire. ramona used it as an opportunity to pick some grass.
there were also a few birthday parties. it was good to see friends, both old and new. ramona chatted up her quilting bee old lady friends, vivian and dorothea. i think some tea was sipped, and recipes were swapped.
i know for sure that ramona stole a plastic corn cob from the birthday girl.
we also canned more salsa, visited the farmer's market, and dined with some good friends. while those activities were super fun, they didn't yield adorable baby photos. instead of pictures of cleaning the chicken coop (we did that, too), we've got pictures like these:
