best. parade. ever.

willy street parade! a stream of neighbors, dressed in their weirdest costumery, driving their strangest mobiles, throwing candy and spreading joy, slowly parade through the neighborhood once a year. we just love it.

there are the perennial favorites:
the bubble car,
the people on stilts (check out the mesmerized little cow),
the dancing gorilla.
there were new participants:
a canada goose,
a bug,
and ramona.

the beverhamms hosted a post-parade bloody mary bar with panache. riley welcomed us on our arrival.
this is smooth dave's bloody mary, and it is loaded with good stuff. it was so good that it has been blogged twice.
