bring on the chickens

the chicken coop construction project is officially started. the city of madison has kindly permitted us to build an addition on to our shed for the sole purpose of housing spring chickens. with permit in hand, our novice craftsman david has the green light for his project.

there may be little in the way of planning or know-how, but there is a lot of excitement and construction material. so far, that's been all we need. that, and a good electric drill.

soon enough, there will be gonzo-level chicken love.
