next week is nobel prize week. despite the
lack luster response to last year's day-by-day blogging of the announcements, i'm going to do it again this year. here is the schedule of the announcements.

the excitement starts monday. place you physiology and medicine bets.

I've got hotels booked in Sweden just in case... Actually my current boss knows a guy who has done that in the past in anticipation of a win (and he hasn't won yet)
I'm always grateful for your announcements. The Grand Haven Tribune doesn't give good coverage of this.
Of course I know that Yamanaka is going to win eventually, but everyone is saying that it is too early for a nobel prize this year. I think I will put my money on him anyway. As for Chemistry, I will bet on Pat Brown, just because I know him, and if microarrays are ever going to win, they should hurry up before no one uses them anymore.
As for the rest of the catagories, I have no idea.
I would think that if you did to win a nobel prize, that somebody would already have a hotel room reserved for you.
If I won, I would demand a hotel room, along with a bowl of only red and orange Skittles waiting for me.
My boss would not admit who it was, but I think he was talking about a certain unnatural amino acid incoprorating chemical biologist at scripps with a very big head on his shoulders.
Your live blogging coverage of Nobel Prize week is invaluable, hopefully this year you'll get that Peabody.
