paul bunyan room
on our way out of the memorial union this saturday, we strolled through the paul bunyan room. the walls are adorned by paintings depicting the life of paul bunyan. i've seen them before, but this time their awesomeness really struck me

Can you believe that all of those events actually happened in the northern midwest? What a rich histroy we have.
just makes me miss the union even more.
making you miss wisco is my main incentive for having a blog.
Did you happen to read the little sign that said that those murals were commissioned as part of one of the "Alphabet Soup" agencies' projects coming from the Great Depression and New Deal... Thought it was kinda cool- but then again I'm a big dork. :)
