the best way to solve a problem?

there must be a more straight forward way to solve an economic crisis than this. right?

what does this room get used for when there isn't a world economic forum going on?

Did you know that each President chooses a new rug for the Oval Office? What happens to the old one? (4 or 8 years) Is that necessary?

but they sure look powerful and important don't they, and that is the major point.

One more thing.. if the whole thing is about how we are entering a global depression.. paying for a meeting theme, a huge emblem, drapes, etc. may not be the best idea. It hard to believe meetings can happens without a hundred foot wall reminding you what the meeting is about.

the president doesn't just choose a new rug...the president completely redecorates the white house with a several hundred thousand dollar budget...often times the outgoing president will buy a lot of their paraphanilia, like their chair, rug etc when they leave office...

i saw that on the west wing. the president has access to all the paintings in the national portrait gallery, and other stuff like that, to decorate with.
