3rd place
our trivia team (eric, laurel, demian, emily, marta, and i), splinter cell, had our best finish to date at dexter's pub's trivia night. we were in first place the whole night, but then fell into third when we missed the final question.

Apparently, the Trojan Whores had the same internal struggle (Flagstaff vs Phoenix), so they went with Denver. Little consolation, I know.

Good luck next time. I cant imagine a smarter bunch than you'all. I also remember on Monday night football someone saying that Indianapolis is the largest US city without a navigable waterway.. I recently found out that is also not true and the answer is none other than Phoenix...although Indianapolis still claims this prize.

Wow, turns out Pheonix is the 2nd largest city in the Western US after LA. Its bigger than San Jose and San Diego and Seattle and Denver and San Francisco. Hmmm...I have never given that city more than a second thought, despite the fact they named their airport a "Sky Harbor."

if nick reiter was given the opportunity to name an airport, i think he would call it a "sky harbor," or maybe something even better. i'm just putting that out there.
stupid Phoenix.....the last time we were there, I remember it felt like hell on earth at noon-time and we froze to death at night. Not my favorite spot on the planet.
