this morning we had breakfast at linda's sea breeze cafe, in our neighborhood of seabright.
as usual it was quite delicious, but also as usual there was a long wait. you can see marta enjoying a cup of joe as she waits in the left of the picture. a good breakfast is something that you often will have to wait for, and it is something we are willing to do. it isn't the same suffering as waiting for a table for dinner. it is kind of part of the experience. other breakfasts worth waiting for: cleveland's diner in madison, wi and the sweet water cafe in marquette, mi.
in case you were wondering we had a turkey, avocado, and cheese omlette, and a mushroom, cheese, green onion, and egg white scambler. delicious.

whats that guy doing on the far right. I cant really read his sign when I click on the pic. A hippie? A homeless person? Your readers need to know.
i think it might be the mayor of santa cruz.
although i do vaguely remember this person from yesterday, i do not remember what his sign said. i think you can kind of split the difference and say that he was half-homeless, half-hippie.
I think it says "I wish I had me a pair of blue jeans too."
I came here to read the comments and now I don't know how to get back to see the homeless hippie.
